Mr. Zhongmin Lu, Director, Department of Quality Assurance and Department of Research and Development gave a brief introduction to JIHEE, which is an accreditation agency

On the occasion of this meeting, JIHEE had a particular interest in the external quality assessment system of vocational education institutions operated by ONESQA, simultaneously established a new hybrid curriculum namely “Profession and Vocational University” in Japan.  For that purpose it was needed to have a specific system of quality assurance assessment and

to obtain more knowledge by exchanging perspectives on EQA with ONESQA.

The two QA agencies had spent two hours to exchange information on the external quality assessment contained these topics, for instance, framework and guidelines for EQA, process and methods for data analysis in the self-assessment report of educational institutions, types of materials and data submitted by each institution as evidence to be checked, number of external assessors per institution, training of external assessors, and quality level of assessment results. Lastly, the information sharing between the two organizations will benefit towards the QA community both in Japan and Thailand.
