On 22 September 2017 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Namon Jeerungsuwan, the Director of ONESQA, and Dr. Shen-Li Fu, the Chairman of TWAEA  signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on External Quality Assessment Collaboration at the Okura Prestige Taipei Hotel.  In this occasion, both parties had exchanged the overview of their external assessment systems and their expectations towards closer cooperation in various areas such as staff exchange and joint accreditation on vocational and higher education institutions.

          In the afternoon, ONESQA delegation, which consisted of Asst. Prof. Dr. Panarit Sethakul, the Chair of Committee for Development and Assessment Systems for Vocational Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Namon Jeerungsuwan, Director, Mr. Ekaphong Lauhathiansind, Senior Expert and Ms.Pattama Sinjumpasak, Chief of Foreign Relations Unit, had visited TWAEA office to learn about Taiwan Technical and Vocational Education and TWAEA’s External Assessment System.   Dr.Shen-Li Fu, the Chairman of TWAEA, Ms.Shu-Yuan Wu, Secretary General, Ms. Ying-Li Chou, Assistant Secretary-General, and Ms.Patty Tsai, Manager, had exchanged TWAEA’s EQA standards, criteria and KPIs, assessment process and its impact.

          Besides, there were fruitful discussions on joint-accreditation project on vocational education institutions. They aim to start the project by jointly assessing at least one vocational education institution of each party within 2018, and also aim to conduct the joint accreditation on higher education institutions in the near future.
