Recognizing the vital role of ASEAN Quality Assurance Framework (AQAF), ONESQA has joined the EU-SHARE (European Union Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region) in the project of SHARE Pilot Review Exercises of EQAAs (External Quality Assurance Agencies) to undergo the agency review, led by a panel composed of ASEAN and European Quality Assurance experts. The panel that reviewed ONESQA came to the conclusion that the agency aligns with the principles set out in quadrants one and two of the AQAF. The QA Trophy in recognizing ONESQA's alignment with the AQAF, which has been in existence since 31 October 2018.

For the purpose of maintaining and following up the review achievements for the external quality assurance agencies (EQAAs) who participated in the first phase of pilot review in 2017 to monitor what development activities have been devised and implemented as an outcome of the external review process, DAAD (EU-SHARE) organized the online Follow-up Seminar for External Quality Assurance Agencies (EQAAs) on 7-8 October 2021 via Zoom.

Dr. Somyot Cheejaeng, Head of Policy and Strategy, represented ONESQA in the seminar to share experiences from the agency review and also report on the progress of ONESQA's operations according to recommendations that in line with the ASEAN Quality Assurance Framework (AQAF).

The fruitful experiences from the review and good practices in devising and implementing the improvement plans which were shared by the agencies through this seminar will be use as development guidelines for EU-SHARE and AQAN to implement the upcoming agency review for the year 2022.
