The 1st Meeting of the International Joint Accreditation Committee

The 1st Meeting of the International Joint Accreditation Committee on cooperation among the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA), Japan, the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA), Thailand and the Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA), Taiwan was held on 10 November 2021 via videoconference.

The Meeting was chaired by Dr. Koetsu Yamazaki, Vice-President of JUAA. The committee from ONESQA was led by Associate Prof. Dr. Rattachat Mongkolnavin, Acting Chairman of Committee for Development of Assessment System for Higher Education and Mr. Wanit Uamsr, Acting Chairman of Committee for Development of Assessment System for Vocational Education.

The project of international joint accreditation standards is implemented under the academic collaboration of the 3 countries with the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of the higher education institutions by recognizing international quality assurance on mutual recognition of academic credits among universities of the 3 countries, dual degree system, and exchange overseas students. The implementation of this project will helpfully provide higher education in the 3 countries with a guarantee on the internationalization of their education quality.
