APQN academic conference has been a primary component of the APQN's function with the aim of providing a platform for members to meet and exchange QA knowledge since the network founding in 2003.

On 25 November 2021 via Zoom, ONESQA representatives participated in APQN Academic Conference 2021 to support the recovery and development of ASEAN higher education sector in the post-pandemic world.

The theme of this conference is “COVID-19 – Response Mechanism and Impact on Quality Assurance for Higher Education in the Asia-Pacific Region” which discussed about how Education Institutions and Quality Assurance Agencies learned and adapted to assure and secure quality of academic standards under COVID-19 circumstance both Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) such as online Teaching and Learning and External Quality Assurance (EQA) such as new approaches and innovations of quality assurance.

During the conference, participants encouraged to learn and share about the innovative ideas and experiences covering pedagogy, course design, admissions, assessment, academic integrity and quality assurance during the pandemic from each other.
