Dr. Nantha Nguantad, Acting Director of the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) and Prof. Dr. Fu-Hsing Lu, Executive Director of the Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan (HEEACT) signed the third renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to deepen their collaboration on external quality assurance, which took place between two locations at the ONESQA office in Thailand and the HEEACT office in Taiwan.

This MoU defines the frame for future collaboration that will encourage ONESQA and HEEACT to further solidify their specialized role as quality assurance agencies as well as exchange of expertise and good practice to strengthen quality and standards in higher education in both countries.

Following the signing of the first and second MOU, the two parties have been undertaking several activities, especially information exchange on external quality assurance for higher education. HEEACT also underpinned the development of educational quality assurance in Thailand by supporting experts for ONESQA annual academic conference over the years.
