AQAN Executive Committee Meeting No. 1/2022

The ASEAN Quality Assurance Network (AQAN) held the AQAN Executive Committee Meeting (ECM) No. 1/2022 online via Zoom on 14 April 2022.

During the meeting, executive members were allowed to discuss on several items including
the postponement of the 2022 AQAN Annual General Meeting which was set on 18 April 2022 virtually to be held physically in Malaysia in July/August 2022, the extension of time to apply for AQAN Secretary General as well as the progression on the upcoming agency reviews done in coordination with EU-SHARE.

Since 2008, AQAN has promoted the cooperation among QA agencies in the region with the aims to enhance the educational quality assurance systems as well as regional competitiveness and internationalisation of ASEAN Higher Education. At present, it is the fifth Executive Committee of AQAN including MQA (Malaysia) serves as a President, BAN-PT (Indonesia) serves as a Vice President, FAA (Malaysia) serves as a Member with Financial Portfoliowhile ONESQA and CHED (Philippines) were appointed to serve as an Executive Committee Member.
