          The European Union Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region (EU-SHARE), operated by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD),in cooperation with the ASEAN Quality Assurance Network (AQAN),conducted the agency review exercise “the Review of External Quality Assurance Agencies (EQAAs) in ASEAN” to benchmark the national QA system with the main tool used in the process (ASEAN Quality Assurance Framework - AQAF).

          LCdr. Dr. Kittiya Evans, Deputy Director, was invited to carry out the EQA Agency Reviewer in her capacity as Chair in the review panels for site visits to DEQA (Department of Legislation in and Education Quality Assurance), Lao PDR, and CHED (Commission on Higher Education),the Philippines.

          On 17-20 May 2022, online via Webex, LCdr. Dr. Kittiya Evans participated in the Preparatory Training for Reviewers of the Reviews of EQAAs in ASEAN to get to know members of her respective reviewer panel(s) and familiarize with the criteria and procedures of the upcoming reviews of EQAAs in ASEAN in June 2022.

          In addition, over the past few years, ONESQA has ever joined the project of EU-SHARE Pilot Review Exercises of EQAAs to undergo the agency review led by a panel composed of European and ASEAN experts. The panel that reviewed ONESQA came to the conclusion that the agency aligns with the principles set out in quadrants one and two of the AQAF. The QA Trophy in recognizing ONESQA’s alignment with the AQAF has been in existence since 31 October 2018.
