On September 2, 2024, ONESQA has launched the first executive meeting for the ONESQA International e-Journal (OIJ) online publication consultation meeting.  The virtual consultation session was led by ONESQA Deputy Director, Dr. Kittiya Evans and her team members. The international editorial board included publication and EQA experts from different continents.  American representatives include Dr. Marti Anderson and Mr. Damon Anderson who hold extensive experience with managing US Department of State diplomatic journal articles.  The European board member was represented by Ms. Fiona Crozier who was the former Vice President for the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). From the ASEAN region, specifically the honored experts consisted of Dr. Hazman Shah Vijayan Bin Abdullah from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and Prof. Dr. Zita Mohd Fahmi, the former MQA President and the current CEO of the Quest International University in Malaysia.

Thai dignitaries presented at the online call included Prof. Dr. Chanita Rukspollmuang, Prof. Dr. Pruet Siribanpitak, Prof.Dr. Kittichai Wattananikorn and Dr. Wanich Uamsri.  All of whom are prolific authors and accomplished academics with substantially published work in myriad areas of education development and quality assurance matters. This first meeting was a great success in gathering pertinent board members to lay the ground work for the firm OIJ establishment.

OIJ has a distance yet to accomplish to realise its potential to be a valuable venue for academic EQA knowledge sharing site. Nevertheless, the inauguration of the OIJ executive committee promises to welcome quality publications to be displayed and evaluated via ONESQA periodical channel accredited by Thai Citation Index (TCI).  OIJ journey has indeed begun.  The joint journal team effort will ensure its continual growth and contribution to the Thai education communities.
